Amazon enters home insurance store field in UK.
Amazon has started an online home insurance comparison service in U.K. called Amazon Insurance Store. It will show customers, quotes for home insurance policies from insurance providers like LV+ General Insurance, Ageas and Co-op. Amazon shall get commission on each sale.
The services will shows shoppers quotes for policies from these third-party insurance providers.
Amazon is entering the finance market for the first time.
Customers can apply for home insurance on Amazon by filling out a questionnaire on their home insurance needs.
